What is the alarm standby function?

Standby means that even when an alarm condition occurs it is ignored and the alarm stays off until the alarm condition ends. When the signal enters a non-alarm region, standby mode ends. Standby works in the following situation.

  • When powering on
  • When the SP changes
  • When the SP number changes (excluding remote) (i.e. when the SP value is changed)
  • When the alarm type changes
  • When standby is forced via communication

For example, you can use it when you don't want a PV lower limit alarm to occur when an oven starts up.
