Calcium Imaging
In this tutorial, we will learn how to perform time-lapse analysis of objects with little movement using CellPathfinder, through calcium imaging of iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes.
This method is effective for data in which cells show little movement and some variation in brightness, as seen in the images below. In this technique, the same cell regions are utilized across time points to perform graphing using fluorescence intensity.
