Yokogawa UK Limited received a certificate of commendation at the 2016 Halton Business Awards, held at the Holiday Inn hotel in Runcorn on Friday 22nd April 2016. The Halton Business Awards, organised by Quantum Event Management and the Halton Chamber of Commerce, recognise and reward excellent performance, good business practices and the successes of organisations within the region.
Yokogawa, an industrial automation company whose UK head office is based in Runcorn, were shortlisted in the category of ‘Innovation in Health and Wellbeing’, and were commended for their policies and practices which have a positive impact upon the health and wellbeing of its employees. Head of Finance and Administration Carl Ramsden, (pictured second right), said: “We follow our founding principles based 100 years ago in Japan, which have served our business well.
“Our philosophy is to contribute to society through broad-ranging activities in the areas of measurement, control, and information. Individually, we aim to combine good citizenship with the courage to innovate.
