The symposium is the first event for discussion of emerging research and practice on mental workload and its models and applications. It will bring together researchers and practitioners from different disciplines including human factors, computer science, and provide a mechanism for the exchange of ideas and technologies between a worldwide audience of academics and industrial practitioners

Yokogawa will deliver two presentations on the first day of the event, focussing on human factors in Industrial Practice. Dr Maurice Wilkins, Executive Advisor, will present “Managing operator workload with standards based decisions support”, and Ferdinand Coster, Advanced Solutions Consultant, will deliver “Smart workload balancing”.
