Future Scenario 2040

Future Scenario 2040: Shaping Horizons of Uncertainty

Future scenarios for the year 2040 developed by the next generation of leaders through co-creative dialogue

The Future Co-creation Initiative released its first scenario, "Future Scenario  2035: A Journey Through Time" (PDF 1.9MB/22 pages)in 2022, illustrating a vision of the future encompassing entire industries.
In this new Future Scenarios in 2040, we expand beyond the traditional B2B domain to explore the future from a B2C perspective, considering consumers and society as a whole. Using scenario planning methodologies and engaging in dialogue with diverse stakeholders, we conducted a multifaceted analysis of accelerating megatrends, groundbreaking technologies, and growing concerns about the global environment.

The white paper, "Future Scenario 2040: Shaping Horizons of Uncertainty" (PDF 3.8MB/24 pages), is available for free download. You can access it via the "Resources" tab at the top of the page.
