1. Workshop : “Getting a Bioreactor to talk to its Digital Twin”
Synopsis
Building an accurate predictive model of a bioreactor is only the first step in achieving advanced process control. The final step is to make the bioreactor communicate seamlessly with its Digital Twin. In this workshop we showcase our approach to establishing the communication between the two even while giving the operator a chance to intervene. We also discuss other solutions that span the automation pyramid to support end-to-end digitalization of pharma manufacturing. Join our experts in this interactive session to discuss all things about Pharma 4.0 - from Digital Twins to Smart Factories.

Date/Location: 18 Aug 2022, 3pm. Room Workshop 2
2. Conference talk: "Advanced Control of Cell Culture Processes During Manufacturing"
Synopsis
Reducing failures or deviations of manufacturing batches is critical to producing quality biologics. We can use Insilico Digital Twins of bioreactors to perform advanced process control of cell culture processes. The Digital Twins can predict in real-time the future trajectory of cell culture performance indicators and give early warnings on deviations. The Digital Twins can also suggest CAPAs to prevent the deviations. This session will show how Digital Twins are built and used for Advanced control of cell culture processes in manufacturing
