Maintenance for equipment in production line, robot, conveyor etc.
Overview
Production stoppages caused by sudden malfunctions in production equipment are a serious loss of opportunity. Equipment inspections to prevent failures are often carried out based on the experience and sense of maintenance personnel, and are fraught with risks. Customers want to perform maintenance appropriately in accordance with the timing of regular stoppages and the condition of the equipment, not as a rule of thumb for maintenance personnel. To meet these expectations, the Multi-Sensing Remote I/O Analog Sensing Unit VZ20X can be installed compactly in the gaps of existing production equipment, and by accurately capturing the status changes of each, it contributes to reducing the risk of them.
Problem
- Add to install equipment diagnosis monitoring system to reduce the risk of sudden stop
- Require high speed sampling measurement for an equipment which work at high speed such as robot
- Require compact measurement device as messy is the area where the device to be installed
- Require many channels to monitor about 100 robots and other equipment
Solutions
- Measure current and vibration from robot or conveyor with VZ20X
- Data collected to be processed or analyzed, and sent to upper system or monitoring client
Benefit
- Build distributed monitoring system at the fastest 1ms sampling interval
- Compact to install in small space of equipment
Features
- Compact size easy to install in existing equipment, Supports large number of measurement point at faster sampling interval and realize distributed monitoring
Product recommendation
- Multi-Sensing Remote I/O Analog Sensing Unit VZ20X
A sample program for system construction is introduced.
*As of June 2022, the Analog Sensing Unit VZ20X is sold in Asia Pacific and the Middle East areas.
