Details
Easy setup of multiple complex measurement parameters
Cell Counting & Cell Searching
- Automatically increases number of imaging points until number of cells imaged reaches to target value.
- Automatically searches appropriate imaging position in a well to acquire image containing target number of cells.
Auto Analysis Start
Automatically transfer the measurement data to analysis WS after image acquisition.
Post-processing includes "Copy", "Move", "Image Correction" and “Starting Auto-analysis” of measurement data.
Wide-view imaging
Wide-view optical scanner has 4x wider image area than our conventional model and provides single-shot image acquisition of whole-well in a 384 wellplate using 4x lens (4 shots using 10x lens).

Reduction of fluorescent cross-talk
Fluorescent cross-talk is an artifact caused by fluorescent signal that is superimposed on other fluorescent color(s) in simultaneous multi-wavelength fluorescent image acquisition.
This artifact can be reduced by image processing.
Example images of fluroescent cross-talk and resultant image of cross-talk reduction
This software allows you to flexibly customize analytical algorithms depending on your application.
Analytical protocols
Ready-to-use standard protocols are available for universal basic analyses. New appropriate protocols can also be built for your application.
Analysis protocol | Explanation |
Granularity | Granule recognition in cells |
Neurite Outgrowth | Recognition of nerve cell projections |
Nuclear Morphology | Recognition of morphological changes of nuclei |
Nuclear Translocation | Recognition of objects migrating between the cytoplasm and nucleus |
Plasma Membrane Translocation | Recognition of objects migrating between the cytoplasm and cell membrane |
New | Creation of new protocol |
Object recognition
Basic and advanced modes are available according to application. In the basic mode, pre-defined parameters such as signal intensity threshold or size can be used to recognize objects. In the advanced mode, appropriate algorithms for object recognition can also be used.

Graph of analytical result
Each object is linked to the graph, showing a more detailed analysis of results is possible.
Object link and grouping
This function links multiple different objects of the same cell in different images.
Parallel high speed processing and multi batch processing
Using this function, multiple images of the same measurement can all be processed automatically in the same analytical protocol (recognition algorithms and/or analysis parameters). Moreover, by setting multiple different batch processes, different analyzes of many images can be processed sequentially.
Tiled image analysis
Using tile function, all images of entire well can be reconstructed and analyzed as single image.

Wide-view confocal scanner unit
Microlens-enhanced dual Nipkow disk technology significantly reduces photobleaching and phototoxicity in live cell imaging
Principles of the Microlens-enhanced Nipkow Disk Scanning Technology
A Nipkow spinning disk containing about 20,000 pinholes and a subsidiary spinning disk containing the same number of microlenses to focus excitation laser light into each corresponding pinhole are mechanically fixed on a motor, and very rapidly rotated. As a result, high-speed raster scan of the excitation lights on the specimen can be achieved. The pinhole and microlenses are arranged on each disk in our proprietary design to optimize raster scan.
Multi-beam scanning not only increases scanning speed, but also results in significantly lower photobleaching and phototoxicity, because multi-beam excitation needs only low level of laser power on the specimen to fully excite fluorescence.
CV7000 uses wide-view Nipkow disk model which is capable of scanning 4 times wider imaging area with higher resolution and thus capable of ultrafast and high-resolution screening.
