“... a stable company that sets goals according to actual themes, such as net-zero emissions, well-being & circular economy, and improves itself anywhere possible.” |
How would you describe your job and role at Yokogawa?
As warehouse operator my primary task is to properly handle the incoming and outgoing goods, to check the delivered quantities, possible damage and make sure our outgoing shipments are correctly packed. Keeping the warehouse well-organized is a daily challenge given the limited space we have.t.
What is the most remarkable thing you have done at Yokogawa so far?
Without a doubt, the rearrangement of the warehouse. This was a major project, installing new shelves and redistributing the storage areas, the goal was to make optimal use of the facilities/space. I can say that I’m very proud of the result.
Yokogawa values 'quality of life' for their employees. How do you experience that in real life?
Since day one I felt the company is willing to create a healthy life/work balance for everyone. This translates in flexible workhours, possibility for self-improvement trough a variety of courses, trainings and many more.
So, in my opinion Yokogawa not only values the quality of life, they also make it happen.
Why should talented people consider Yokogawa as a potential new employer?
Personally, even though Yokogawa is a multi-national, I like the atmosphere of the small family business. There are real opportunities for developing each one’s career.
Yokogawa is a stable company that sets goals according to actual themes, such as net-zero emissions, well-being & circular economy, and improves itself anywhere possible. All this gives me a very positive feeling and makes Yokogawa a very attractive employer.
