How would you describe your job and role at Yokogawa?
In my current role I coordinate the EPC business within the PCI Department.
Our team has the responsibility to provide the customer with technical experience and support. As sales engineers, we strive to achieve the company objectives; nowadays it’s quite challenging to get clients’ trust and have them placing orders with us, so the balance between technical knowledge and good service that we can provide, is becoming more and more relevant. In addition to drawing-up proposals, we also work as project managers, bearing the responsibility of project developing, minimizing cost, reaching delivery deadlines, in-line with customer requirements and obtaining the goal profit.
What is the most remarkable thing you have done at Yokogawa so far?
I studied Chemical/Process Engineering at the university and in 2015 started my career with Yokogawa in the role of Internal Sales Engineer. Recently, my technical knowledge shifted more into the background as I have improved other interpersonal skills like communication, negotiation, motivation, team building… Last month I have been promoted to a new position, coordinating the PCI EPC business, thus the most remarkable thing I have done is gaining the confidence of my manager and the team.
