Standby means that even when an alarm condition occurs it is ignored and the alarm stays off until the alarm condition ends. When the signal enters a non-alarm region, standby mode ends. Standby works in the following situation.
- When powering on
- When the SP changes
- When the SP number changes (excluding remote) (i.e. when the SP value is changed)
- When the alarm type changes
- When standby is forced via communication
For example, you can use it when you don't want a PV lower limit alarm to occur when an oven starts up.

Advanced Application UT75A
The UT75A temperature controllers employ an easy-to-read, 14-segment large color LCD display, along with navigation keys, thus greatly increasing the monitoring and operating capabilities. A ladder sequence function is included as standard. The short depth of the controller helps save instrument panel space. The UT75A also support open networks such as Ethernet communication.
