There is no strict specification for the input current value of DCV/TC INPUT, but the current value can be determined from the following specification.
DCV/TC INPUT specification
- Max input voltage: V
- 2 VDC range, thermocouple, RTD: ±10 VDC
- 6 VDC range or higher: ±60 VDC
- Input resistance: R
- DC voltage 2 V range or less, or with thermocouples: 10 MΩ or higher
- DC voltage 6 V range or higher: Approx. 1 MΩ
Thus, the current value is (per Ohm's law, I=V/R)
- 2 V range or less, or with thermocouples: ±1 µA or less
- 6 V range or higher: Approx. ±60 µA
Be sure to check whether 60 µA or more is flowing, as this could damage the input module.
