Yokogawa Group Human Rights Policy Established

Tokyo, Japan - September 24, 2020

Yokogawa Electric Corporation has established the Yokogawa Group Human Rights Policy, which is based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The Yokogawa Group's corporate philosophy is "As a company, our goal is to contribute to society through broad-ranging activities in the area of measurement, control, and information. Individually, we aim to combine good citizenship with the courage to innovate." Based on this philosophy, we have strived through the conduct of our corporate activities to respect the human rights and dignity of all people who are involved in our business.

With the growing interest in recent years in environment, society and governance (ESG) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), companies are being called on to play a greater role in responding to human rights issues. Through our formulation of the Yokogawa Group Human Rights Policy, we wish to reaffirm to society our abiding commitment to respect human rights.

Based on this policy, the Yokogawa Group will work with its employees, business partners, and suppliers around the world to carry out its business activities in a way that values human rights, and thereby contribute to the realization of a thriving and sustainable society.
