For the EDGE certification, Yokogawa partnered with FLOCERT to measure performance in the areas of gender and intersectional equity. FLOCERT is an independent global certifier for Fairtrade with a mission to support sustainable businesses and fairer global trade. One of the certifications issued to global organizations by FLOCERT is the Economic Dividends for Gender Equality (EDGE) certification.
Yokogawa was audited on March 23, 2023, and was in compliance with the requirements of EDGE Certification. The official certification document was issued on May 30, 2023. Yokogawa joins over 250 global organizations as EDGE-certified workplaces committed to equity.
FLOCERT audited qualitative and quantitative processes from Yokogawa’s statistical data, employee survey findings, and policies and practices to determine the organization’s performance in four key areas - pay equity, representation, the effectiveness of policies and practices to ensure equitable career flows, and inclusiveness of the culture.
