Transforming Manufacturing with Advanced Energy Management Solution
The EEMS integration encompassed four types of boilers, two air compressor systems, five refrigeration systems within the Automated Storage & Retrieval System, and all power meters, providing a comprehensive view of energy usage. This project deployed 66 sensors for real-time data collection, 22 gateways for data transmission, and 20 customizable dashboards for visualizing energy consumption and system performance. Supporting 52 users, EEMS enabled key personnel to access and utilize data for optimal operations. With EEMS, the manufacturer achieved significant energy savings and enhanced operational efficiency through real-time monitoring and management. This led to reduced energy waste, substantial cost savings, and improved overall performance. Additionally, EEMS supported sustainability goals by minimizing energy consumption and reducing the carbon footprint. Yokogawa’s EEMS provided the necessary tools and insights to effectively manage energy use, resulting in greater efficiency, lower costs, and better operational performance. This implementation demonstrated the benefits of advanced energy management technology in the manufacturing sector.
