Introduction
- Generally scarce resources are used in utility for process industries.
- Difficult to understand the avail- able pattern and usage of these resources.
- Results in uncontrolled consumption of energy and hence brings about an increase in cost.
Application
Utilities commonly support the energy requirement of the main process across the spectrum of industries in the form of fuel, electricity, steam, compressed air, water etc. As the energy cost is increasing by the day & simultaneously resources getting scarce, it becomes essential to manage / optimize the energy consumption.
Solution
- Networked plant wide data monitoring & archiving
- Balance of energy demand & supply through distribution metering
- Optimization of consumable supply to the different location, hence the increase in energy efficiency.
- Customized management reporting & continuous improvement
- Instantaneous shop-floor wise/ area-wise energy consumption v/s Target
