A module directly linked to another module is called a "unit." One GM90PS power supply module is required for each unit. In a multi-unit configuration, one GX90EX I/O expansion module is required per unit. One GM90MB module base is required for 1 each of all modules except for the power supply modules (namely, the GM10 data acquisition module, the GX90EX I/O expansion module, and each of the GX90_ _ I/O modules).
Ex. 1: 100 ch analog measurement configuration (100 ch/single unit)
- GM90PS power supply modules: 1
- GM10 data acquisition modules: 1
- GX90 XA analog input modules: 10
- GM90MB module bases: 11 (GM10+GX90XA)
Note: When using the GX90XA-10-T1, the limit is 8 modules 80 ch.
Ex. 2: 420 ch analog measurement configuration (60 ch/unit x 7 units)
- GM90PS power supply modules: 7 (no. of units)
- GM10 data acquisition modules: 1
- GX90EX I/O expansion modules: 7 (no. of units)
- GX90XA analog input modules: 42
- GM90MB module base: 50 (GM10 + GX90EX + GX90XA)
Note: Separate LAN cables required for unit-to-unit connections.
