Data acquisition add-on software with various condition triggers
- Start/stop recording based on trigger events set up in advance using alarmAND/OR conditions or specific times.
- Pretrigger function allows recording of data before and after the trigge detection
Triggered Data Logging Constantly Vigilant for Changes in Data
Define any state change in data as the starting/ending point of data logging. Logging starts or ends when a trigger condition, such as the alarm occurrence/cancellation, the level of increase/decrease in measured data, a change in the time series, the count of data, becomes true.
Characterization of Triggered Logging Using AddTrigger
Any state change in data is defined as the starting/ending point of data logging, and logging starts or ends when a trigger condition, such as the alarm occurrence/cancellation, the level of increase/decrease in measured data, a change in the time series, or the count of data becomes true.
Setting Data Acquisition Conditions
Configure such data items as the trigger for starting/ending data acquisition and the recording rate.
Setting the Recording Rate
The product of the scan period and the recording rate equals the recording interval.
Setting the Frequency of Checking the Start-of-Logging Trigger
This trigger condition is judged to be true only when the condition proves true as many times as the specified frequency of trigger checking, and thus logging starts or ends.
Start/End-of-Data-Acquisition Triggers
Multi-alarm:
After the recording starts, the software monitors the alarm status in wait for a trigger. Logging starts or ends as triggered by a point of change where an alarm is activated or cancelled. The statuses of individual monitored alarms are designated as AND or OR to determine whether the specified trigger condition is true.
Multi-level:
After the recording starts, the software monitors the alarm status and wait for a trigger. Logging starts or ends as triggered by the state in which the measured data value goes above or below the specified data value.
Appointed-time trigger:
After the recording starts, the software monitors the time of data. Logging starts or ends when the time of data equals to or leads the appointed time. With appointed-time triggering, you can repeat fixed-interval daily data logging.
Number-of-data-items trigger:
Specify the number of data items when the start-of-logging condition is either "alarm trigger" or "level trigger." Logging ends when the specified number of data items are written to the file.
Pretrigger
The pretrigger function saves data, starting from a point in time that occurs a specified number of data items earlier than the starting trigger point. This function works in conjunction with two types of end-of-logging conditions, i.e., the "alarm trigger, level trigger or fixed-time trigger" (other than the specified number of data items), or the "number of data items."
Example:
When the end-of-logging condition is "alarm trigger", "level trigger" or "fixed-time"
Example:
When the end-of-logging condition is "number of data items"
