Join our talk at Innostage!
Date: Wednesday, September 27, 2023, 4.20 PM-4:50 PM
Abstract:
The life sciences sectors is facing ongoing and new challenges in cell & gene biology research, drug discovery and the characterization of therapeutic proteins. Yokogawa, widely recognized for its automation solutions in the process industry, has steadily expanded its expertise into life sciences sector since 1996. One of the main focus of the life sciences division, is to develop instruments that leverage proprietary confocal microscopy technologies. The Yokogawa’s company mission is to offer advanced products tailored for cell biology research and drug discovery. Notable inclusions in Yokogawa's portfolio are the Confocal Spinning Disk Unit (CSU), the CellVoyager™ High-Content Analysis Systems, and the Single Cellome™ series designed for precise nano-point delivery and subcellular sampling.
Further enhancing its technological portfolio, Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies introduced the FlowCam family, an amalgamation of flow cytometry and digital microscopy. This innovative approach streamlines and expedites the process of particle identification. In a parallel development, Fluence Analytics' ARGEN, provides a comprehensive solution for the characterization and assessment of therapeutic proteins and biopolymers, efficiently detecting the onset of aggregation, accelerating biologic development timelines, and evaluating long-term stability under various conditions.
Collectively, these developments highlight Yokogawa's commitment to addressing the evolving needs life sciences sector.
