“Talented people have the chance to grow more in their professional life,co-developing their talent with and within the company.” |
How would you describe your job and role at Yokogawa?
My role (and responsibility) is to manage the relationships with our customers, focused on Power and Water business. Relationship does not only mean to make a contact or pay a visit; the accounting is a complex process of understanding your customer business, detect key personnel, approach engineering teams, promote and update your portfolio, as well as follow up on the on-going projects (customer satisfaction) and, most important, investigate the possibilities for further collaboration by introducing the customer to better or more suitable solutions for their needs.
What is the most remarkable thing you have done at Yokogawa so far?
Remarkable things are not entitled to only one person, I firmly believe that the success stems from teamwork. As an employee of only 8 months, I have not had the opportunity to achieve anything remarkable yet. However, I am now trying to match and tie some loose ends that I detected when I joined the company. So, for example, I have gathered as much information possible, and started the engines. In my opinion, I have, without collateral effects, already achieved a better coordination between different business units for the same project and customers in our company’s Power and Water business.
Yokogawa values 'quality of life' for their employees. How do you experience that in real life?
My own experience is that Yokogawa care about own employees. ‘Quality of life’ is based on several aspects of your own lifestyle. Yokogawa promotes values pointed towards quality in our life, focused on what employees can do, i.e. continuous trainings, full communication channels, career opportunities within the company, social benefits, good work environment, and so on.
Why should talented people consider Yokogawa as a potential new employer?
In other companies the add-value is a hindrance or threat, but Yokogawa is a company where the “add value” works. Talented people have the chance to grow more in their professional life, co-developing their talent with and within the company. And it is more than welcome to have a talented person in your team. Always a success factor!
