As an engineer I have always been focused on the technical matters. There are always several solutions to approach your target but to keep focus yourself on the most efficient way is sometimes difficult. Ever since I am working I have realized that assemble a machine or a program is just the beginning. There are several things to come along with. There is “afterlife”. They are used by operators, maintained by people and being found in charts where management can see how efficient they really are. Ever since I started in automation I always searched for the most efficient way, doesn’t matter, if it is leading engineers or managing site work, creating a new plc program, setting up a new process or installing a control room for Europe’s biggest refinery. Innovation and new technology are leading principles in my daily job.
