Functional Safety (FS) is what makes my heart beat faster. In this area I work on FS project assessments, FSM audits, FS training and guiding a team of specialists. I can also call myself FS Expert (TÜV Rheinland) in the areas of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Functional Safety Management (FSM). I also cooperate on an international level in the direction and framework of engineering safety systems. For this we have the GM604 as a law within Yokogawa, which is the only one with a governance board, in which I can join the discussion on compliance. Because I want to leave the world a little safer than I found it, the position of trainer and team leader fits me perfectly. With the biggest reward when the “safety pilot flame” also lights up by someone else!
