Peter Weidemann

As a Mechanical Engineer, I joined Yokogawa in 2007. Before joining Yokogawa I had the chance to collect broad project experience in global infrastructure projects. Being in the manufacturing side of Yokogawa, my current role as a Support Engineer is to facilitate sales and EPC projects involving Flow Meters. You can only gain expertise by working with the users and get an understanding of their industry by going to those places. With the deep product knowledge and a go-to attitude, I witnessed Yokogawa Flow Meter applications and developed solutions in the Oilfields of Texas, Refineries in Europe and Russia, Petrochemical and Vegetable Oil Industry in Asia and Loading Installations in Europe. The only way to communicate is to speak the industry-specific lingo and provide reliable support to our sales. Besides daily Sales Support, my main task is to share knowledge and provide product training to Yokogawa Sales all over the world. This activity is very enjoyable because of the exchange with all the different people of Yokogawa and our customers.
