From contact management to product presentation: Yokogawa at SMART Automation (1/2)

Numerous lectures and more than 400 exhibitors – no question about it, SMART Automation in Linz once again lived up to its reputation as Austria’s only trade fair for industrial automation. From Tuesday, May 14 to Thursday, May 16, the spectrum of products and services at the Design Center at Europaplatz ranges from the component level to complete systems and integrated automation solutions and covers all product areas of industrial automation technology. And Yokogawa was also right in the middle. Once again. “I have been with Yokogawa Austria for about twelve years now and SMART Automation takes place every two years in Linz. We were there every time during this time,” reports Richard Schola, Head of Backoffice Yokogawa Austria, who also headed the 36 square meter booth.

Solutions and Technology

“This year, our focus at the exhibits was on process instrumentation, more precisely on flow-through technology and analytics,” explains Schola in view of the fact that the industry meeting in Austria’s third-largest city focused on the TDLS8000 module, the Rotamass module and a DTSX module (module presentation in video below). A touch table as a demo point rounded off the trade fair portfolio of the multi-member Yokogawa team led by Martin Krizsanits, Daniel Fehri, Peter Weidemann and Stephan Schäfer. “We are very pleased to be here again. SMART Automation is ideally suited for showing market presence, cultivating old contacts and making new ones,” says Schola.
