It is almost 100 years old, the ACHEMA. The premiere of today’s leading international trade fair for the process industry took place in Hanover as early as 1920. And in the meantime, the “old lady” has long since developed into the world forum for this subject area and has found her permanent home at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds every three years.
From June 11 to 15, some 3,800 national and international exhibitors will once again present their current products, processes and services in the fields of chemical engineering, process engineering and biotechnology to the expected 166,000 visitors. The range of products includes laboratory equipment, pumps and analytical instruments, packaging machines, boilers and stirrers, safety technology, materials and software – everything that is needed in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
Furthermore, the accompanying congress programme at ACHEMA Frankfurt also includes around 800 lectures from science and industry on results from application-oriented basic research to application-oriented research, practical forums with solution-oriented industrial contributions from exhibitors and other company representatives presenting application-oriented research on product and process innovations through to new services, interesting panel discussions and a large number of special and guest events reflecting the entire diversity of process technology and biotechnology. SBA as Yokogawa’s guiding theme
And once again Yokogawa is right in the middle: in Hall 11.1, Stand E16, this year’s main theme is “Synaptic Business Automation”, or SBA for short.
After all, we face challenges in everyday plant operations almost every day. The solution is not obvious at first glance and it is also not clear what the way there is. But Yokogawa has taken up the challenge and developed concepts that we would like to present to you at ACHEMA.
The automation landscape of the global process industry is changing significantly: the Operational Technology (OT) division is merging with the Information Technology (IT) division. Many users ask themselves: Does this also affect me? Do I have to act? And above all: Where exactly is the added value of digitization in the process industry?
Yokogawa’s answer to all these questions is: “Synaptic Business Automation”. At ACHEMA we would like to present this strategy with the aim of optimising your production environment and thus also making it more resilient.
