MLX Display
The MLX is easily ranged to display virtually any engineering units by properly calibrating and selecting the desired units to display. It uses a 4-key touchpad for operator input; each key may have multiple functions assigned to it based on a particular menu operation and serves to navigate the menu systems and select a specific value or function. These keys allow the user to access setup parameters, enter engineering units, zero and full-scale values, select display symbols, and modify display functions. The LCD includes a bar graph for an analog indication of the process variable magnitude. The six-digit display and six-character display (combined with several symbols) give an instant view of all process variable parameters. A menu system allows customizing settings such as decimal point position, engineering units, the status of symbols, and state of the bar graph.
- Numerical: Six 7-segment digits
- Alpha-numerical: Six 14-segment characters
- Bar graph: 20-segment Bar graph
- Symbols: %, x10, x100, x1000
