The RAGK Short Rotameter measures liquids and gases, designed with a conical glass metering tube that has a free rotating float. The flow is indicated by the top of the float and can be read from the standard scale on the metering tube or from a connected scale.
Measurable Flow Rate:
- Water = 0.002 l/h to 600 l/h
- Air = 0.2 l/h to 6300 l/h

Meets High Safety Standards
The RAGK’s tube is fixed between two square formed heads and sealed with o-ring gaskets made of Buna or Viton, providing a higher level of safety. Its stainless steel rear wall stabilizes the construction, and a plastic cover protects the rotameter.
Additional Features & Options
- Two different tube lengths
- Needle valves direct assembled in the head of the inlet or the outlet
- Inductive ring sensors (GR) as limit switches available
- Magnetic contacts (Reed sensors) for M3-tubes
- Inlet and outlet flow controller available

The Variable Area Flowmeter is one of the oldest and mature principles in flow measurement with its simple design: a float rises inside a conically shaped glass tube as the flow increases and its position on a scale can be read off as the flow rate.In the 1990s, Yokogawa strengthened its focus on flowmeters through cooperation with and the eventual acquisition of the German flowmeter manufacturer ROTA. In so doing Yokogawa gained access to 100 years of flowmeter expertise and completed its flowmeter portfolio by adding the Rotameter (variable area) and Rotamass (Coriolis) product lines.
