Configured channel numbers and tag comments to display, but only the channel numbers appear on screen.

In Basic setting mode, I set the Tag No. Use/Not setting to Use, but I don't set the tag number string (I enter all spaces), and this is supposed to be the setup to display channel numbers and tag comments (referring to section 5.2, “Displaying Tags or Channel Numbers” of the user's manual (IM 04L41B01-01E)). However, only the channel numbers are showing up on the actual screen.

With that setting, both the channel number and tag comments may not be able to fit in the limited display area, and only the channel number is displayed. To display the tag comments, set Tag No. Use/Not to “Not.”
