UTAdvanced Digital Indicating Controllers come standard with ladder sequence functions in ladder programs, some of which can process data (measured and computed values). This is an example of applying those ladder programs to create a ratio station.
Figure 1. Chemical injection ratio setting
The ratio station is easy to configure on UTAdvanced by setting the following ladder program for the calculations.
Figure 2. Input ladder program for a ratio station
The injected amount of chemical is automatically adjusted according to the amount of untreated solution.
RSP × P01 × P03 = RSP_CTL
(amnt. × ratio × concentration = target setting)
Ratio and concentration are displayed, set, and changed on UTAdvanced using the P parameter.

Mid-level UT55A/UT52A
The UT55A and UT52A temperature controllers employ an easy-to-read, 14-segment large color LCD display, along with navigation keys, thus greatly increasing the monitoring and operating capabilities. A ladder sequence function is included as standard. The short depth of the controller helps save instrument panel space. The UT55A/UT52A also support open networks such as Ethernet communication.
