DAQWORX Series Data acquisition add-on software for recording by groups
- Assign up to 50 groups of up to 32 ch each and start/stop recording on each group independently.
- Recording can be manually controlled or linked to measured levels or alarm conditions
Multi-Data Logging and Filing Software
With AddMulti, you can organize data logging channels into a maximum of 50 measurement groups of 32 channels, set logging conditions for the groups, and log data separately on a group-by-group basis. The data files thus logged are saved in separate files, also by group.
(Note: If linked with MXLOGGER, AddMulti can only be used at one particular measurement interval of a single MX100 unit.)
Launcher
Lets you set data acquisition conditions and start/stop data logging, group by group. In addition, this component displays group names and statuses.
Overview
Lets you check the operating status of each group in real time using the signal monitor, the data file storage monitor, and the detailed operating signal monitor, status monitor.
Status in which the start-of-datalogging conditions are monitored | The start-of-datalogging conditions are true and data logging is in progress | Data logging is at a stop |
Detailed Operating Status Monitor
Logging in progress
Logging in progress Lets you monitor the data logging status, measurement interval, starting/ ending times, and the number of data items of each group, in real time.
Configure such data items as the group name, channel assignments and recording rate on a group-by-group basis.
Storing Logging Data Files
Directories for storing data:
In the window for setting data logging conditions, you can choose a desired directory. As many data directories as the number of groups you have defined are automatically created under each project setup.
Characterization of Multi-Logging Using AddMulti
This multi-logging enables you to set logging conditions for each measurement group and start/stop data logging separately on a group-bygroup basis.
Start/End-of-Data-logging Conditions
Conditions for starting: Immediate/appointed time/alarm trigger/level trigger
Conditions for stopping: Continuous/appointed time/alarm trigger/level trigger/number of data items
Immediate: Manually click the Start Recording button to begin data logging.
Continuous: Continues data logging. To stop, manually click the End button.
Alarm trigger: After recording has started, the software monitors the alarm status and waits for a trigger. Logging starts or ends as triggered by a point of change where the alarm is activated or cancelled.
Appointed time: After the start of recording, the software monitors the time of the data. Logging starts or ends when the time of the data equals exceede the appointed time.
Level trigger: After the start of recording, the software monitors the alarm status and waits for a trigger. Logging starts or ends as triggered by the state in which the measured data value goes above or below the specified data value.
Number of data items: Specify the number of data items as the end-ofacquisition condition. Logging ends when the specified number of data items are written into a file.
