We will initially concentrate on instrumentation for the power, aquaculture, and aluminum melting markets. In the long term, we aim to establish partnerships to explore rapidly growing sectors such as wind and hydrogen production.

Iceland is at the forefront of energy transitions, with 100% of its electricity production derived from renewable sources such as geothermal and hydropower. We can expand our knowledge base to further support growth in this sector.

Yokogawa’s Channel Management specialist Harrie Bruinsma: “In recent years, Erik Visser, Manager Sales/Marketing, and I have visited numerous customers and identified significant potential. I am confident that there is a strong alignment between our companies. I firmly believe that, in collaboration with the team at FálkinnÍsmar, we can effectively support our Icelandic clients with our high-tech products.”

Gunnar Sverrisson, Managing Director from FálkinnÍsmar, stated: “Our partnership with Yokogawa demonstrates our mutual focus on high standards and innovation. By integrating our local knowledge with Yokogawa’s advanced technology, we aim to provide effective solutions to our clients in Iceland’s rapidly evolving aquaculture sector as well as energy and industry.”
