Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it has entered into a partnership with IVT Corporation, a leading provider of Bluetooth software products, to sell IVT's Bluetooth protocol tester, BlueTesterâ„¢, worldwide.
The BlueTester helps vendors significantly simplify the complexity of receiving a Bluetooth certification by testing and automatically judging standard compliance and interoperability of products, and creating reports in a predefined format. Yokogawa released the BX1000 Bluetooth protocol analyzer in October 2000 for the measurement of the upper layer of Bluetooth protocol. With the aim of strengthening its market position, Yokogawa will combine the BX1000 with the BlueTester to provide solutions for all stages of bringing a product to market--from development to evaluation and certification.
Dr. Qiang Gao, CEO of IVT says, "IVT is pleased to enter and keep a close partnership with a multi-national company like Yokogawa. With IVT cutting edge technology and Yokogawa's expertise on testing equipment and worldwide distribution channel, we offer our customers first rate product and support."
"Yokogawa is pleased to go into partnership with a top-level developer of Bluetooth products like IVT," says Mr Mamoru Sanagi, Yokogawa's senior vice president of T&M business. "With this close partnership, Yokogawa will be further able to provide perfect measuring instrument solutions to our customers in this fast growing and promising technology."
