Yokogawa Electric Corporation (headquarters: 2-9-32 Nakacho, Musashino-shi, Tokyo 180-8750, Japan; president: Isao Uchida; capital: 32.306 billion yen), Tokyo - Shell Services International B.V. and the Industrial Automation business headquarters of Yokogawa Electric Corporation have signed a new four-year global supply agreement on integrated process Automation & control solutions and project services. This affirms Yokogawa as a strategic supplier to the worldwide companies of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group ("Shell") and broadens the long time relationship and business of the two global groups.
The supply agreement was designed to cover the entire portfolio of an integrated sensor-to-board industrial automation solution available from the Yokogawa group of companies worldwide, including process control,safety and information management systems, process instrumentation and services.
"Yokogawa continuously strives to develop a cost effective, fit for purpose products and services in accordance with our Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) business concept," said Noriaki Hirose, senior vice president of Yokogawa International Business Headquarters.
Yokogawa's ETS concept and the new supply agreement enhances each other's commitment to reduce Shell's total cost of ownership by 25% and supports the cost reduction program announced by Shell.

The new supply agreement also facilitates a strategic partnership for the business objectives of Shell and Yokogawa.
