Overview
The YS1500 Indicating Controller comes with a variety of built-in functions that are needed in process control. The YS1500 is configured upon shipment from the factory so that only the minimum required functions are available, but control functions needed for a user's specific application can be selected by setting various parameters.
Overview of YS1500 Functions
Table 1 lists some of the major functions of the YS1500 as compared with those of the earlier model, the YS150.

New Functions for the YS1500
Added functions that were previously only available with the top-of-the-line programmable indicating controller:
- Greater freedom in DI/DO assignments
A variety of status inputs/outputs can now be freely assigned to DI/DO.
- Sample and hold PI control
Useful for processes with a lot of down time.
- Transmission Output function
PV, SV, and MV can now be assigned.
