The VJET Ethernet/RS-485 converter is a compact, plug-in type communication converter that uses the Modbus/TCP protocol for connecting to host devices with Ethernet capability, and uses the Modbus/RTU protocol for connecting to devices with the RS-485 communication function.

Connects RS-485 communication devices and DeviceNet communication PLCs, and provides monitoring and parameter setting functions. Yokogawa's GREEN Series controllers, VJ Series signal conditioners and PR201/UZ005 power monitors with an RS485 option are supported.

Converts 16 analog input signals (1 to 5 V DC) from signal conditioners - Yokogawa's JUXTA VJ Series or D Series - to digital signals (0 to 10000), and transmits them via the DeviceNet communication PLCs.

Receives digital signal (0 to 10000) from DeviceNet communication PLCs, and converts them to 16 analog output signals (1 to 5 V DC). The analog output signals can be coupled with Yokogawa's JUXTA D Series via a dedicated cable.

Plug-in type, RS232C/RS485 dual directional converter with two ports of RS232C and RS485, and perform isolation of communication signal, level conversion and active control of driver. Mainly applicable to connect the equipment with RS485 I/F to RS232C I/F of PC.
